XC Handicap Series 2009/2010 Leader Board Photos
The Club's Cross Country Handicap Race Series consists of 10 races run between October and February. These races are held at Priory Parks football pitches, Blantyre Farm Road. The course distance is 5.7km. The race dates are : Sat 24th October, Sat 21st November, Sat 12th December, Sat 19th December, Sat 9th January, Sat 16th January, Sat 30th January, Sat 6th February, Sat 13th February, Sat 20th February. Start time is 8.15am.
There is a £1 entry fee to each race. Money collected over the 9 races will be distributed between the Harriers who hold the top 3 positions in the leader board at the end of the 9 races.
The number of points awarded for each postion in the race is dependent on the number of runners entered into the race. The winner receives a number of points equal to the number of entrants. One point will then be deducted for 2nd position, 2 points will be deducted for 3rd position and so forth. One additional point will be awarded for a PB.
